We play the usual three weeks but this time we will do the entire Native Sons album in order, song by song, as we celebrate its 40th Anniversary AND the recent three CD box set of Native Sons issued by Cherry Red Records. I am so happy I sold off a couple of guitars and then bought a brand new Rickenbacker 360 as I have never ever owned one and it seems purr-fect for me to play on all the October dates. (So much for my downsizing my 🎸collection.)
The Native Sons box set hit number 12 on the Official 🇬🇧Americana Chart with sales still ticking over so I reckon by October we will be a red hot show business prospect.
Oh, the wonderful Murry Hammond from the Old 97s will be on bass and vocals this tour too. (Thanks, Murry!)
