Bandcamp Juneteenth fundraiser

On Friday, June 18th Bandcamp will be donating 100% of their share of any sales to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, a racial justice organization with a long history of effectively enacting change through litigation, advocacy, and public education.

This would be a fine time to check out both the Tom Stevens’ solo album Home as well as The Third Mind’s debut album.

Tom Stevens was, of course, a Long Ryder from Christmas 1983 to his sad passing in late January of this year. The Third Mind are helmed by Dave Alvin, once of the Blasters and X, who is now a leading light in the Americana genre.
