The Long Ryders 2019 Full Live Show

Here from November 6, 2019 at the University of Huelva in Spain, filmed at their Auditorio Universidad, the entire set of the Long Ryders performance that evening. It was filmed by the University staff for their archives.

Note the drummer for this show is temporary replacement Simon Hancock as the Long Ryders’ drummer Greg Sowders was unavailable for this tour.

Our thanks go out to everyone at the University of Huelva and at Otis Tours for hosting the Long Ryders and giving us such a memorable evening.

A big, BIG thank you to everyone who came out to see the Long Ryders on our recent shows in North America and in Europe. From our opening night in Louisville to the tours closing night in Vitoria, Spain we all had a blast and it looks like you all did too!

With a triumphant return to The Roxy right through to our first ever visit the sunny Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival it was a whole lot of fun. We even got to play at the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame (Thanks to Karen from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for the photo).

And not to forget the live set we played for our old chum Mojo Nixon on the SiriusXM Outlaw channel and our in-store performance at Portland’s fine Music Millennium store, where we were lucky enough to be joined by Coal Porter Alumna Carly Frey.

Carly wasn’t the only guest to join us (or even the only Coal Porter!) as we had Barry Shank in Cleveland play with us on his Ivory Tower song, and in L.A. Chip Kinman (ex-Rank & File, ex-Cowboy Nation) joined us onstage as did ex-Coal Porter fiddler Kerenza Peacock and Kerenza was onstage with us at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in San Francisco too.

For the final show of the US tour Sid’s old roommate and Bangles’ drummer Debbi Peterson sang on three songs with us in Portland, Oregon whilst Carly Frey was there fiddling with us that night too. And the co-writer of Molly Somebody, Steve Barton, came onstage and sang it. We played in Paris with Elliott Murphy and even Ed Stasium caught up with us in L.A. and shot this of our Roxy soundcheck.

We had great fun catching up with friends and fans too many to mention, both before and after the shows.

Until 2020 Adios y hasta lluego!
