The Long Ryders announce North American tour dates for 2019
The Long Ryders, who skirted the twangy outskirts of L.A.’s Paisley Underground scene in the ’80s and are oft credited as the founders of alt-country, returned this year with Psychedelic Country Soul, their first album in over 30 years.
Garnering positive reviews across the board Psychedelic Country Soul reached Number One in both the Official UK Americana Chart and Amazon UK’s Alt-Country/Americana Chart!

The band will head out on a series of North American dates this September, hitting Louisville, Evanston, Ferndale, Toronto, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Portland, as well as two NYC-area shows: Brooklyn’s Rough Trade on September 17 and Jersey City’s WFMU Monty Hall on September 18.
Tickets for all shows on sale Friday, May 24 at noon.
