Japanese Flag There is a Japanese Sid Griffin / Coal Porters / Western Electric fan site by Tot which can be found at http://www.globetown.net/~griffinville
New! Tot-Channel: A brand new Japanese / British music site featuring a dedicated Sid Griffin page. With fantastic video footage of Sid Griffin and his bands this is well worth investigating. Warning: this site is in Japanese! So here are a couple of tips: Under the green 'Clips & Personnel' box on the Sid Griffin page, click on the green date buttons. Otherwise just have fun clicking on the blue links around the site. Have fun! n.b. These clips shold work well with PC and Mac OS-10. Mac OS-9 user cannot view them.

This A5 size magazine features news and reviews of current Sid Griffin/Coal Porters activities alongside articles about the Long Ryders and related matters. Grant Curley, a ex-professional golfer, welcomes contributions on any suitable subject, particularly covering activities outside the UK and early Coal Porters or Long Ryders tour dates, reviews, interviews, etc.

Issue 13 is newly available and amongst the usual cocktail of news and reviews contains a guide to bootleg recordings of the Long Ryders.

Grant has also published a 40 page A4 sized magazine called How Did We Get This Far?, which is a compendium of articles from issues 1-10 of the fanzine. Included are articles on all of Sid's bands from The Unclaimed to The Coal Porters, a 3 part history of The Long Ryders, Pat's film band, Kate St John's first album and a Coal Porters discography and is available for £3 (UK), £4 (Europe) or £5 (USA), inclusive of postage and packing.

Grant has ceased publishing Rebels Without Applause but has moved it online. So "read all about it, read all about it" online!
